Have you ever felt stuck? Have you ever thought that there was no hope. I have felt that way before. My hope felt like it dried up. Yes, there was quite a storm going on, and I took my eyes off of my Savior.
Just when I thought it was over, Jesus shows up.
So, I took a step back and changed my perspective. If my hope was fired up I could go back to the well. Jesus would fill me up there.
“ Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his livestock?”
Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:11-14
Thank you Lord for filling our cup with Your Living Water. Thank you Lord that whenever we feel empty we can come see you again at the well. After all, God isn’t finished with us yet!
